On November 9th, ART-ER (the business development agency of Emilia Romagna) in collaboration with ADMA Pilot and MISTRAL MED project, organised the webinar “Offshore Renewable Energy: emerging opportunities for the offshore industry”.

The webinar was divided into two sessions. The first one had the main objective to describe the state of the art of the marine renewable sector from the perspective of the Mediterranean basin. The session started with the main findings of the study report “Blue Book“ developed by MISTRAL which analyses the marine renewable sector and its innovation potentials. After this presentation, the state-of the art and experiences from France, Greece, Italy were discussed. The second session illustrated the opportunities offered by the Vanguard initiative and in particular the ADMA Energy pilot. Examples of joint collaboration within ADMA demo cases in specific technology domains were presented: offshore renewable power generation and distribution, corrosion and coating monitoring and management system for offshore renewable energy systems, next generation of materials for manufacturing big components in offshore wind energy.
