Vanguard Initiative’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Pilot is one of the two new Pilots launched by Vanguard in 2021.
The AI Pilot is jointly lead by Region Baden-Württemberg and Region Emilia-Romagna, and to date, it is participated by a network of 12 Vanguard Regions.

Expanding on and complementing the existing Vanguard Pilots network, AI Pilot aims to provide stakeholders of VI Regions – from research centers to industrial solution providers – with a platform designed to pool existing knowledge and competencies to accelerate the uptake and deployment of AI solutions in the European industrial value chain.

AI Pilot activities aim at showcasing the advantages of Artificial Intelligence in the industrial sector while taking into account at the same time defining topics such as the impact of AI on competitiveness and revenues, workers and employees, and social environment and ecosystems.
