It’s less than 4 weeks until the first Vanguard Initiative Regional Conference, organised by Wales and Randstad, is taking place in Cardiff on 25th – 26th March 2020. 

If you haven’t yet registered, the time is now!  The conference programme has now been finalised and can be found here, along with a link to register.  During the conference we will discuss practical tools and methods to compare and align our smart specialisation strategies, in order to faciliate interregional valuechain cooperation.  The conference will be followed by a visit to the Compound Semi Conductor Foundry in Newport; most of you will have a chip in your smartphone that comes from here!

Cost of attendance is free and we will be situated in the beautiful Cardiff Castle for networking and iconic Principality Stadium for the conference. Travel options include by train from Brussels (connection in London) and daily direct flights from Amsterdam to Cardiff, with a wide range of hotel options in the city centre, close to the conference venues.
