Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut will be opening the award ceremony, and Ilka Groenewold will moderate the event.
Two exciting keynotes will follow

• Kay Firth-Butterfield, Head of AI and ML and Member of the Executive Committee at World Economic Forum, with her lecture: „You can’t successfully achieve an AI Ecosystem without Responsible design Development and Use of AI“. She will address one of the key factors of AI - the ethics. She also is one of the world’s leading experts in the governance of artificial intelligence.
• Richard Foster-Fletcher, Executive Chair at MKAI – The Inclusive AI Community and Founder and Managing Director of a leading advisory services company NeutralPath.io. He is a specialist in the topics of metaverse and blockchain, climate change, ethical AI and digital trust. He dedicates his keynote to the forward-looking matter of Metaverse & Artificial Intelligence: Great power and responsibility.

The AI Champions BW competition was first announced by the Ministry of Economics in 2020.
So far, a total of 18 AI champions from Baden-Württemberg have been awarded for their AI solutions.
