The Smart Health pilot project has the ambition to transform the connected European value chains on personalised medicine and smart health, by combining biomedical, technological and data-driven expertise. The partner regions already established solid ecosystems. By bringing these ecosystems together, a higher added value will be reached and boost the implementation of personalised medicine; it will realise an innovative approach for health and care in Europe.

In its first year, the project plans to update its scoping note and involve more regions in the pilot and the demo cases (at least five additional regions). It also plans to take the ongoing demo cases further, by signing an MoU and making at least one demo case ready to apply for I3 funding. Furthermore, it plans to start new demo cases under the pilot.
